Cheryl Draper retires from Berkeley High

Just saw this on the wire that Cheryl Draper retired at Berkeley High School. She did a great job taking over from Gene Nakamura and the program didn't skip a beat. Kids always played hard and she was always humble and with a smile. Good luck in retirement, coach!

I think she talked about this after the 2013-2014 season, but ended up coming back. Interesting times for the Berkeley program

That's a pretty good job, all things considered. It would be fun to know who applies, but that will be kept pretty quiet, most likely.
