After Franklin beat Elk Grove (7-6) and Jesuit beat Grant, there is a three way tie for first place in the Delta League. Jesuit will be the top seed from the Delta in the upcoming SJS DI North playoffs.

I watched Jesuit play last week and was a little surprised. They were shutout the first four innings and got one run off a talented freshman in five innings. Their defense gave up five runs in one inning and I think one ball left the infield. They just aren't a very physical team save for Tanner Dodson. They are winning with a deep, talented pitching staff.

I've seen em a couple of times and came away totally unimpressed. I'm amazed they're the #1 seed from the Delta. God bless smoke n mirrors.
