Hey Folks,

I wanted to alert you all about the Las Lomas High School Football Camp Featuring Washington State Head Coach Mike Leach and his coaching staff on Monday, June 15, 2015. Coach Mike Leach and his amazing staff will be conducting the camp. Here are the details:

Location: LLHS at 1460 S. Main Street, Walnut Creek
Registration is at 8:00am. Camp starts at 9:00am.
Open to any student in grades 9 - 12
$30 Cash / $32 credit per camper
Checks payable to "Las Lomas Football Foundation". We will have a Visa terminal available as well for credit cards.
Athletic gear required: T-shirt, shorts and cleats

Coach Leach and his staff are terrific. They take a very hands-on approach on teaching the finer points of the game. Not only will your son receive top-notch instruction but will also get on the "radar" with the WSU coaching staff.

This will be a valuable and rewarding experience for these young men. Please spread the word to anyone you feel would be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity.

Thank you!

Can't complain about the cost!

very interesting. wsu gets involved in lamorinda football. what is the draw? i would think its running a camp with no attitude and lamorinda players. interesting no ebal connection who wsu has attracted those past players. looks like coach leach has some class but what is the underlining message? mabey nothing but a lot of college coaches go with the top tier leagues or programs. mabey they draw from outside lamorinda also.

It looks like Leach has seen what comes out of Lamorinda, kids that come to play and catch on fast and are trainable, no nasty or snotty attitude and think they are special...This camp no doubt will draw from the whole area, and for the price, you can't beat it...It would be worth while to see who shows up and how these kids react, if nothing else, this training will rub off and the kids that show up will much the better.

Yes, Leach might have saw a couple of Campo players coming out, but overall the lamorinda area is not producing blue chip college recruits. Still a good fit to have camp there as previously posted.

Monte Vista HS in Danville hosted the camp with Mike Leach and staff last year and had a great turnout. It was a very well-run camp and we aim to do the same this year.

Thank you for the comments - there are many savvy and knowledgeable posters on this site!
