This is great. Thanks.

I agree about Merc coverage. It is a shame they don't just cover CCS for rankings. They had decades of CCS records and data and now just cover part of the section in what they consider their subscription area. There are less than a handful of teams and players that would be added to rankings and for consideration to all CCS so it would be minimal added effort. I'm sure the Merc gets lots of internet traffic from outside their subscription area.

SF Chronicle All Metro vs. SJ Mercury All CCS

Interesting that the only CCS players listed in the SF Chronicle's First and Third Team All-Bay Area are Mitty's Ben Kone (First Team and Peninsula Metro POY) and Riordan's Eddie Stansberry (3rd Team All Bay Area). Most of the other CCS players on the First thru Third teams garnered HM in the SF Chronicle. Playing in the rugged WCAL most likely had a lot to do with the SF Chronicle's selections. Link below:

SF Chronicle All Metro Team

Congrats to Marquis Adkins of Mills. Great player who has a great feel for the game and more importantly a great kid.

Re: SF Chronicle All Metro vs. SJ Mercury All CCS

Thanks Jordan as missed the SF Chron All -Metro. Tough list to argue with really. I would be curious though as to who the writer was ["Mitch Stephens"?]. Could not find anything I readily disagreed with.

Rmbr, Yes. Mitch Stephens was the writer for the All-Metro teams. He's got a very good handle on NorCal HS basketball.
