First boys game is at 12:00 PM with the Division IV game. Capital Christian vs. Crespi.

Capital Christian wins physical battle in Q3 and outscored Crespi 15-3. They lead 35-34 going into the fourth.

Crespi wins first state title with a 47-44 win over Capital Christian. Junior De'Anthony Melton had a key block in the final seconds on Justice Shelton-Mosley and a couple of tough rebounds.

That block was incredible. He not only blocked it but kept it in play and came up with the ball and got fouled. Play of the game.

Takes a lot of guts to go for that block. Don't want to foul or worse allow a potential three point play and it is tough to time against the speed of Shelton-Mosley. However, he timed it perfectly and capped off a nice afternoon for him

Mitty leads 13-11 end Q1. Ben Kone had 9 of the Monarchs' 13 points.

La Mirada leads Mitty 29-26 at halftime. Dezmon Murphy's shooting has been key with 13 points. Ben Kone had 15 points for Mitty.

Mitty leads 50-41 end Q3. There are a lot of good coaches in NorCal, but I'd put Tim Kennedy at the top of the list. Has these guys playing their best ball of the year and they play hard.

La Mirada has outscored Mitty 19-7 in Q4 to take a 60-57 lead over Mitty with 129 left in Q4.

Sebastian Much makes a buzzer beating three pointer to send Mitty and La Mirada to overtime tied at 62.

Much has been really impressive today.

Mitty and La Mirada tied at 65 going to double overtime. This is the third double overtime game of the weekend.

La Mirada beats Mitty 71-70 for its first state title. Mitty couldn't get the ball to Sebastian Much on the last possession.

Guard play was the Monarch's undoing with some costly turnovers and shot selection in crunch time. Much and Kone will be a force next season. Wonder if Kennedy will now get a guard transfer. Lol! La Mirada was down double digits in the third and came back for the win. Good season Mitty

Mater Dei leads 9-4 with 349 left in Q1. Not sure how much time Isaiah Thomas gets tonight. Matchups don't favor him.

Mater Dei leads 22-19 with 321 left in Q2.

The 2 days at Haas are over 17,000 people. Success for 2015 and should stay here long term. Been a great atmosphere all weekend.

Mater Dei leads Bishop O'Dowd 26-21 at halftime. Rex Pflueger had 11 points for MD. Rabb has 8 for O'Dowd.

Mater Dei leads Bishop O'Dowd 33-31 with 322 left in Q3. Crowd is starting to get into it for O'Dowd. Looking for a 6-0, 8-2 run to explode on.

Mater Dei leads 40-37 after 24 minutes. Bad decision by Paris Austin to force tempo instead of holding for last shot. MD comes back and makes a 3 at the buzzer.

He's heating up though. I'm impressed with MD trio of guards. Obviously Rex is a stud but Parker and Stout are legit.

Paris is heating up. Definitely playing well overall.

Mater Dei leads 50-48 with 357 left in Q4.

Rabb isn't touching the ball enough. I love how Austin is playing aggressive but seriously get the ball to the beast.

Mater Dei misses front end of 1 and 1. O'Dowd ball down 58-56 with 15.9 seconds left.

I think Paris getting the ball on the run going to the basket or Ivan at the free throw line where he can attack.

Neither. Austin Walker gets the ball and has a clear lane. 58 all with 10.3 seconds left.

Mater Dei was selling out on defense.

O'Dowd leads for the first time all night at 64-63 with 36.8 seconds left.

Ivan Rabb is fouled with .8 seconds left. He airballs the first free throw and makes the second. O'Dowd wins 65-64.

Can't script it any better for Ivan Rabb to cap his legacy at Bishop O'Dowd. Have to be happy for the O'Dowd program too.

I havent seen such a great day in highschool basketball in a long time! Congrats to every team that made it this far and alot of the games could have gone either way including the girls games!

Just came back from SoCal to catch the MD/BOD game. What a game. HAAS seems like the ideal local for the north to host. Lots of energy there, seems like the ideal venue.
