St. Francis won 3-1. Really good job Mike Oakland and his staff have done. Andrew Carter tossed a six-hit, complete game for the Lancers and Jeremy Ydens hit a two run homer.
I admit, I have been critical in the past about Coach Oakland not winning more outright WCAL titles with the abundance of talent. Just proves it's not easy regardless of talent depth. However, to win both regular season AND playoff tournament for the first time, in what I believe was a very competitive year in WCAL...congratulations to St. Francis Lancers and Coach Oakland.
