side note on the principal in question.... he was an actor in the movie Boyz n the Hood.

Ankle —- It’s going to end up being more than that. I heard a rumor it might get as high as 7-9 million.

Just crazy but the kid is a phenomenal basketball player who has gotten better over the Summer. His shot is a lot better, he was more of a volume shooter, but now it’s a lot more passing, smart shots, and some of the plays he made during border league were down right filthy.

7 mil may seem crazy but Utah is basketball crazy, and his one season at BYU could easily generate anywhere from 15-20 million dollars in season ticket and suite sales alone! That’s not including merch and other things they would be able to sell
i called my dad and told him i was born too early. damn

Turlock FR quarterabck Scout Silva is a gamer

That's exactly what I was thinking. Will he have to transfer to some academy/prep school for his senior year?
I don’t believe so. The CIF rule states if a player turns 19 on or before August 31st of the year in question, he’s ineligible to play football his senior year. If his birthday is September 1 or after, he’s still eligible to play (assuming he has his academic work in order).

Sounds to me like the college version of a Jon Koncak type of deal. Their about to change the whole scale.

Week 9 Scores

Turlock takes down Downey33-14, in probably the worst officiating I’ve ever watched in all my years. IMO, the refs won this game with their one-sided calling of the game. Totally disgusting!
I have been staying offline because I didn't want be the guy complaining about refs. But the Calls and no calls got to me. I know one dad above me was angry his sons helmet being ripped off. And no call. I felt the same way about Escalon Oakdale game last year.

BJ Davis has 28 versus UCLA

what is a "secret scrimmage" and why do we know about it?
NCAA rules allow preseason “secret” scrimmages between Division One teams, but they must be closed to the public and the two participating schools are not allowed to publicize them, meaning no fans or media will be allowed. Teams are allowed up to two preseason exhibitions/scrimmages.Oct 4, 2024

Schedules are starting to pop up here and there...

Wow, Head-Royce with an ambitious non-league slate!

Interesting, tho... On 12/27, you're playing yourselves? I guess that's a guaranteed win... :)

Oh, I see... 12/27-30. I guess you're hosting a tourney.
Yeah, that is an incredibly ambitious non-league schedule for tiny Head-Royce. Granada, BOD, SRV, Mitty, Oakland High, SHP!
They will be battle tested come the postseason!

You're right, Clay. Nobody has come close to accomplishing what she has. NCAA player of the year, All-NBA team, WNBA champion...pretty impressive for a kid coming from Orinda. Here's an interesting fact. The Lamorinda area has produces 7 Olympic athletes, 3 NFL players, 2 golfers, a few lacrosse professional athletes, and now an WNBA champion. Not bad for a small community.
She’s not from Orinda, her family lives in Walnut Creek. She only traveled to Orinda for HS as her AAU coach was coaching there. I don’t believe WC is considered part of Lamorinda, but it is certainly Lamorinda adjacent. Very impressive what this WC kid has accomplished!

I hate to say this but the honest truth is parents will hide behind reality simply based on the fact that the school will not come out and publicly say who the perpetrators were and where they actually live / where the reported to live. They know the truth but its all smoke and mirrors until the get aired out publicly. I feel for the Principal, I know he's done the foot work to find out what's going. He doesn't deserve the slander.

Honestly, I hate what High School sports have become some times. A lot of these high profile coaches can only coach Uber-talented players and would not win half as much as they do without the shady shit they do in order to recruit kids. I remember a conversation I had with a coach (who oddly enough still coaches within the WCCUSD) who shared his hate for the CIF saying they need to stay out of the business of student-athletes.

Sr. Stats (8 Games): 66 tackles, 11 sacks

While he is a talented pass rusher, he also plays the run well setting the edge and not running himself out of plays. Tuiilelia was an All-NorCal pick as a junior and is on the short list for NorCal Defensive Player of the Year.

Tuiilelia committed to San Diego State on September 22.
