WCAL Week One

A good HS ref has 50x the rules knowledge of an average fan. Dragging them always seems bizarre to me.
i don't think your making the point you think you are. in fact you are proving my point.

if what you said is true then the refs know the rules and choose to enforce them wrong or make bad calls that influence games despite knowing the rules. the wcal in particular is known for its poor officiating.

this is not a secret. in fact it is an open secret that wcal officiating is designed to create controversy.

MC will play in Quincy Shootout 2025!

Did you know that St. Louis is Headquarters for the most amount of US Companies in any american City?
Have you traveled through Clayton, The Hill or the West End?
Have you been to Arts District on University?
I could go on and on. Oakland as any other city you wish to realm unsafe and unworthy for travel.
I was born in Missouri as well my friend. Royals' die-hard.
Oakland Raider fan now LV.
Also, not a word on Quincy, a lovely replication of Midwest towns and values.
Most who go to Quincy shootout, have one day in St. Louis. The Arch park is so clean, unpolluted, no homeless and clean free bathrooms.
So Great you have heritage in the Show Me State.
If one who is a High School Basketball fanatic, this is the premium of shootouts.
Showcases Midwest, East Coast teams that play with enormous intensity.
Look at the talent on these teams.

NorCalPreps: St. Louis is beautiful, yes northern side of town which is north of Del Mar Loop ( Reminds me of Telegraph in Berkeley) has crime. What some posters have not mentioned is most crime is drug and shootings much like many ghettos across this Great Land!
dont get me wrong. i am so st louis.. ask my tattotist...
but please dont tell these people its safe to be hanging in north city.
go to the arch, go see ballpark village and get on outta there. 2020 263 homicides.. 2023 158 while that is a little safer.. it still aint nothing to play with. but i do love my city!

i was born in st louis, my entire family was born in st louis, my parents are graduates of the Pruitt and Igoe. my brother is a city cop, 3 others first gen are city cops. i have never felt unsafe in oakland. i def watch my back when i am visiting st louis. sadly the homicide count in stl is higher than oakland and people think oakland is bad. SLU and WashU are def beautiful. it is also like many midwest cities really segregated. i dont think i went to school with another race for my first 6 years. now this was forever ago and when i moved to LA i was in culture shock at all the different looking people

So I know St. louis. If you are north of Del Mar then you have high crime. Did you know Most of St. Louis is beautiful. Two Universities ( St. Louis U./Washington U.) side by side make a must see and visit. They have Tower Park that is awesome. The Hill is the oldest Italian neighborhood in the USA. excellent restaurants and bars. You can park on the streets and not worry about the walk back to your car. The West End is posh and wealthy, Maryland avenue is awesome. Funny people claim St. Louis is more dangerous than any other Metro. I also know Oakland, lived on myrtle across from McClymond's and off 14th and Mandela.

Davis Forfeits Game(S) against Folsom

M&P....College Park is in Pleasant Hill,College Park faced one of their poor football teams in some time and the coach did not one any part of a beating that DLS would have put on to CP..
i am well aware of where community college park is. my point still stands.

when a program knowingly and willingly chooses to run away and duck a scheduled game that program is stained forever and there is no recovering. which is true of cp and will be for davis

if you don’t believe me look at Florida state. they quit on there season last year and now look where they are. they will never recover.

WCAL Week One

many of the games will likely be decided by the refs.
Good thing most people have you blocked - I'm almost there too. This comment is one of the definitions of a saddle burr. Yeah, refs have their part in the game and don't always get it right. But to throw this side comment about on-the-field wins just show how far you will go to get negative attention.

Week 6 Football Preview

Oak Ridge (1-3) at Granite Bay (4-0) 7:00 PM

Coming off a bye week, Oak Ridge opened SFL play with a 28-7 win over Del Oro. Jasen Womack ran for three touchdowns, quarterback Cole Esten threw for 136 yards and ran for 69 yards and Kaleb Edwards had two sacks. Granite Bay hit the road and beat Jesuit last week 30-17 as Isaiah Ene had more than 200 total yards and two touchdowns. Darnell Turner Jr. has been a key two-way player for the Grizzlies, which hasn't allowed more than 17 points in any game this season.

Central Catholic (3-2) at Manteca (3-1) 7:00 PM

Manteca has three blowout wins over Elk Grove, Laguna Creek and Lincoln-Stockton, but dropped a home game to Marin Catholic 29-28. Sophomore running back Nikko Juarez has 640 yards and 10 touchdowns and the defense has tallied 11 sacks. Central Catholic has leaned heavier on the run in the past two wins over Bishop Manogue and Patterson with more than 300 yards in each game. The Raiders have three runners with at least 34 carries led by Joey Alcutt with 59 attempts for 600 yards and five touchdowns.

Bishop Amat (2-2) at St. Mary’s-Stockton (2-2) 7:00 PM Game of the Week

This game marks the end of the non-league for the Rams, which played teams from four different sections. Last week, The Rams held a fourth quarter lead over De La Salle before losing 38-35. They have a strong receiver core with Kenneth Moore III, Osani Gayles and Ivan Huerta. Bishop Amat was expected to have a strong offense, but were missing a couple of key skill players in last week’s loss to Rancho Cucamonga. Quarterback Frankie Villalbazo threw for 118 yards and a touchdown last week.

Quincy (3-1) at Hamilton (3-1) 7:00 PM

Quincy gave up 14 total points in its first three wins before losing to Anderson (28-20) last week. Ayden Carnes has rushed for 456 yards and three touchdowns with a season high 201 yards against Modoc. Hamilton has won three straight since dropping its opener to Berean Christian. Last week, the Braves beat Dayton (Nevada) 27-26 despite giving up more than 400 rushing yards.

West Park (5-0) at Destiny Christian (3-2) 7:15 PM

West Park has won four of its five games by one possession as quarterback Jaden Jackson has formed a strong connection with HaReal Greer and Mason Johnson, who has had big performances the past two weeks against Woodcreek and Cordova. Destiny Christian has one on field loss to Grant in a game the Lions played the Pacers tough in the league opener.. Quarterback Dallas Munn has thrown for 1,131 yards and 12 touchdowns with Greyson Smith being his top receiver.

Palma (3-1) at Salinas (2-1) 7:30 PM

Mitty (3-0) at Valley Christian (1-2) 6:00 PM

Mitty is giving up 10 points per game, including a shutout of Menlo-Atherton, in finishing off the non-league undefeated. Lazaro Faraj-Washington has rushed for 379 yards and four touchdowns. Kai Sniffen has three interceptions and 2.5 sacks. Valley Christian got an opening 24-7 win over Wilcox, but have scored 17 total points in losses to Salinas and Soquel. The Warriors beat Mitty 35-0 last season.

Rocklin @ Folsom

No “her” here lol. As I stated before. Rocklin CAN throw the ball. They are a play action shot team. Every team in sac is going to struggle throwing against the sac all star team.
Totally agree with you!…. Rocklin’s passing game is just fine…. And according to Moist it’s right on par with Folsom…. 🤣
13/28 144 yards 0 td's 2 interceptions

those are the stats you can't run and hide. you can't justify and you can't explain it away.

you can say they can throw till your blue in the face but numbers don't lie.

13/28 144 yards 0 td's 2 interceptions.

rocklin can't pass in the big games. just like i said.
  • Haha
Reactions: The Heat Miser

Pitt at St. John Bosco is on Bally Sports SoCal TV tonight

They actually got a few San Diego County kids. I've heard this one straight from one of their top assistant's mouths.
that coach was just blowing smoke, or the person your referring to isn't really a coach. bosco gets there kids from la county and orange county. thats where they live. as with every other school, sometimes people move from other places to get closer to bosco but they LIVE in la or orange county while attending bosco.

Jaden Rashada on the move in the Portal

but i will say.. jadan said the rules changed on him at florida and everyone was on his head.... but this guy people are ok with
i hate to always have to be the guy to point this uncomfortable truth out but i will. the only difference is that jaden is of a different ethnic background. the double standard still exists.

Top rusher in California?

Wes Burford is the name. He is averaging 194 yards per game and has 11 rushing TD's, according to Maxpreps... But I can't find any useful video of the team any longer than 3 minutes.
They have 2023 highlights in Maxpreps. In the 3 blow out games. He only played first half. I questioned his o-line. Very small. But he is getting holes to run. Everything goes up middle of line. Against Mountain House. 4 TD 2 rushing one receiving. 1 fumble recovery for TD. And 1 completed pass for 20 yards. He reminds me of Cameron Skatabo from Rio Linda now at Arizona St.
