passing isn’t just about the qb football is a team sport it also requires pass protection receivers who can get open and catch and a good scheme. so far this season and the past few seasons folsum has shown none of those things. rocklin has shown them never.

thats my point. didn’t think I would have to explain how passing offense works on a football thread but I guess I was mistook.

About that BM game. That seemed like an anomaly. The game was freezing and raining. Rams starting a first year varsity QB starter, and the coaches seemed to lose trust in the pass game which is what they are better at. Special teams is a problem. For the BM they still should've won but they gave up a punt return for a TD and about an 80 yd kickoff return to the red zone ton setup another TD. If they cleaned up the special teams game they maybe they're undefeated right now.

Man that’s a great question. I did some quick Wiki searches and I think it would be safe to say he is.

Plus MD coming to Folsom would be Quite the Spectacle….. I remember when MD came to Stockton to play DLS in 1999 MD packed the stands with a ton of fans!….

I am sure it would be the same for a game with Folsom, they would fill Folsoms stadium and Folsom could do that cool CHP Chopper Fly over like they did for the LBP Game…. 🤣

Let's get back to the matter at hand: The start of the 2024 WCAL season. It's wide open, as up for grabs as its been in quite awhile. There is no clear favorite. There has been a lot of speculation that Serra is the obvious choice to repeat. Really? Did you watch the DLS and Bosco games? The win over Folsom was an upset and, frankly, a reflection of Folsom's lack of preparation and execution. Serra deserves a lot of credit for that road win. But it's being blown out of proportion now. It will be no surprise at all if the Padres _ led by an inexperienced QB and relying on young players throughout _ go 5-2 in league play. They are vulnerable. On the other hand, so are the other seven WCAL teams. Again, a tie for the crown seems quite possible this year. SI has first crack at the Padres in the Sunset District fog Friday evening. Expect a low-scoring grinder.

which sounds like: davis wanted to switch, as long as they could stay with jesuit, but ideally not for football, but since the realignment committee didn't do the fb exception, they'll just go along with it.

i'll just say, reading all of the minutes, I don't remember any objection from Davis re: being placed in the sfl.

Based on what you have written, both Rocklin and Folsom’s passing games suck (Direct quote by you). So, if Folsom’s passing game sucks, which San Joaquin section schools have passing games that don’t suck? There can’t be more than a handful in your opinion.
