This is why I like series format rather than playing each team once then again down the road. You have an ace and you can set them up to counter every top team, but not in a series. Series shows a much batter barometer of a team and its depth (ie. pitching). -

Cariiilo beat Rancho Cotate 3-1 in the championship of the Rabinowitz tournament. Carrillo and Casa play Saturday in a makeup game between top Northbay teams. After the game Rancho coach Keith McCoy announced he was stepping down immediately for family reasons? JV coach Erik Tucker will take over. -
