2015 Folsom newbies

The one point escape in the first game against CVC put doubts in quite a few people but the way Folsom improved each week and put up double digit wins each week confirmed the program was still strong and reloading rather than rebuilding.

And it's also possible that CVC has a pretty darn good team, even if their enrollment has stagnated at 1999.

Wait a minute...what you also have to realize is Folsom will now benefit from the game they played against CVC. By playing CVC earlier in the season will aid Folsom's defense in correcting the errors they made in that game. Folsom will work on the things that CVC did that caused their defense matchup or schematic problems in that game. Can't wait!

While CVC and Bellarmine both run the double wing, they run it somewhat differently. CVC likes the sweep more and getting their big line out front. CVC QB starter was a decent passer but CVC WRs not the threat the Bells have, and Bells QB is a big impact player with his legs and as a passer.

Throwing the ball 6-8 times a game was considered a "threat to pass" in 1964. Us old guys actually remember those days.

God bless.

Hmm I feel like we've heard someone be critical of teams who don't throw the ball a lot before......

Not crirical at all my brother. Its just a different style. SFL teams run completely offenses. I think CVC threw them off because they had no played against an offense like that. Also it was the first game of the year. They have greatly improved since. Myself, and a vast majority of the people on here don't believe you can beat Folsom that way. The Bells haven't played anyone like that all year. That is what I think hurts them the most.

God bless. And go SFL!
