Hello,

Looking for a list of A, B and C Leagues within The CCS, NCS and SJS and more specifically the teams within those leagues.

Thanks

Only the CCS uses the A/B/C notation. The SJS has "traditional" divisions for leagues, but that doesn't necessarily translate directly to playoff divisions for football. The NCS divisions are exclusively by enrollment, with the exception of teams that wish to petition to higher divisions. For lists, you'll have to visit each respective website.

Okay, so how would i know what amount of playoff points a win vs. a particular SJS, NCS and for that matter, OAL team would be worth?

I'm assuming you are trying to calculate points for CCS.

Non-CCS games are calculated using this formula: “Independent” schools within the Central Coast Section and opponents from outside the Central Coast Section will be classified as follows: “A” if they have 7 or more wins during the regular season; “B” if they have 4-6 wins during the regular season, “C” if they have less than 4 wins during the regular season.

Complete explanation is here: http://static.psbin.com/6/4/cyr1eh5wh36wyd/football_bylaws_2015.pdf

But, you should follow PALBooster posts here in this forum: http://norcalpreps.forums.rivals.com/threads/ccs-playoff-projections-with-2-weeks-to-go.6677/

Same rule applies for non-CCS teams as for independents.

PAL booster is the go-to authority on anything football-related in CCS. He, or she, is The Authority, bar none.
