a few docu of some NorCal great HS players and teams

That Mack team was over the top! They were on a mission and so fun to watch. Loved those guys. Thanks for sharing that video.
Really fun. I think I went to at least 10 of their games that year. I always thought Powell could have played in the NFL. He might be the most athletic kid I've ever seen in HS. Demario Simms had a great career at Chico State an is now a Sheriff.

Dame and Oakland trying to snap the streak in OAL... much can be said, big fish in small pond... Dame/Weber St, Will /Montana, Steph/Davidson... CJ/Lehigh... going to big D1 whale schools, may not get PT due to all the talent.. not to say whale D1 schools is not a good option.. just mids can develop players as well and they have to learn to be team leaders from the get.

Those players were lesser high school talent according to the rankings. They went where they could. They didn't turn down unc, Duke, Kansas or Kentucky. Those are the outliers.

Barry Bell the kid who got shot is the current varsity coach
I talked to Coach Bell today. I am hoping McClymonds can right the ship.
There Football team are a perennial Juggernaut. Maybe it will transfer over to the hoop team. Would love to see them regain their tradition.

Here's wishing you great hoops

Mack was even more dominant way back in the late 1950s and early 1960s when they won 110 of 111 games in one memorable stretch. Some of the names back then: Silas, Ellis, Thomas, the Pointers, the list was long. The Warriors were at a different level.
