Dalton Durossette from Ceres HS. Has a lot of family ties to Ceres. He threw for more than 1,700 yards as a sophomore

So he will sit out for football this year? Ouch! Does Ceres run the same offense as CC? Wish him well

The way the article stated it, sounds like he will be eligible to play next year. The question was whether he could play baseball at Central Catholic this spring.

Isn't there a sit out period. 5 games including preseason? Would leave most of league and playoffs. He would be competing against other Junior for position but next season seems open with sit out period and the following year. Central Catholic seems to always have 1 or two impact players.

With CC adding Clovis West in the pre season, whoever starts the season should be able to retain their spot come week 6. First 5 games are CW, DLS, St Mary’s, Lincoln and Manteca. If the season opener gets 2 wins out of that they deserve to finish out the season.

CC is in league with Manteca. They won't be playing in a pre season game.

Dalton will be able to play football with no sit out. He has to sit out varsity baseball this year He was all league as a freshman in baseball and threw a no no last year. Kid can fling it, and has good speed once he gets going. Great kid and didn’t want to leave his old school. Don’t mean he will start for CC being they have a good JR QB coming back that was injured last year late in year. Should be a good qb battle.
