Any Info on Bishop O'Dowd 2018 Season?

They will be loaded with talent led by 5 Star RB who could be the top rated player in NorCal. They were 2016 State Champions, had a great team in 2017 that lost in the final minutes to Marin Catholic. Look for them to make another run in 2018.

And they won't need to go through the D3 pack this year. Moved up to D2 as I understand it.

Loaded?? With who? Other than RB Jones who do they have, they had several D1 players over last two seasons, which is why they had state run in 2016. They will benefit moving "up" to D2 unless Newman and MC move too. They caught lightning in a bottle in 2016 with a great team that was placed in low division, lower levels have not been that good, questioning overall development of lower levels..... they may struggle next season... big question at QB

Tend to agree with you here, but O’Dowd administration will provide Coach Kaufman with the resources necessary to maintain what they have established now that they got a taste of State, scheduling the likes of DLS, etc.

Even though Campolindo has accumulated enough points, per the NCS formula, to move up to Division 1, Gil Lemmon unilaterally decreed they will stay in D2 for the 2018 season.

I believe Marin Catholic has enough points to move from D3 to D2. Are they being allowed to stay in D3?

NCS bylaws state that teams can only be moved up after a three-year period if they get 24+ points during that three year period. While it is possible to accumulate 24 points in two years, teams cannot get promoted after two years in a promoted division

D2 will be the premiere NCS division this year with MC, Campo and BOD, in my opinion. Will there be any other contenders?
