Basketball Scores

I was watching the Hoover vs Central game on YouTube and seen your comment. Boy you do be watching these games. Lol
You ain’t kiddin’... That was a fun game, with Alfred George scoring 49 in a 19-point loss for Hoover.

I’m on the Bullard-Clovis East game now. LOTS of scoring!

Seems like these Fresno-area teams practically all do the press-and-run/gun style.

44-32 East at the half.

The joys of retirement... :)

I have watched state playoff and title games all over the USA this season, many live (online).

Bullard was still down by 7 or so with 3 minutes to go, but they oared back to force 4 minutes of...

I’ve benn waiting.a long tme to say this)...

FREE BASKETBALL! Tied at 70...

Bullard pulls off the win by an 80-79 count. Quite a ball game...

Bullard was down by 14 early in the 3rd quarter.

Just watched the DLS game on NFHS.

Spartans, playing without Chico State-bound guard Miles Daniels (leg or foot injury in last game, no idea on the severity), were down by 8 at one point in the first half. Game was tied at 44 to start the 4th quarter. Spartans ran off 9 straight to start the 4th, but SRV scored 6 straight to get back in it. I believe the game was tied at one point midway thru the 4th, but Sparty held 'em off.

Chris Bunch had his first action this season for the Spartans, scoring about 20-25, including 17 in the first half. Threw down a couple nice jams, including an alley-oop job.

Washington-Fremont beat Logan 64-57: Alex Martin had a team high 19 points.

Newark Memorial beat Moreau Catholic 79-61: Trey Knight had 21 points and seven assists in the loss.

Rocklin beat Granite Bay 74-43: Emmanuel Akpan had 22 points for the Thunder, which improved to 8-0.

Central Catholic beat Ripon 73-53: The Raiders improved to 6-0. They beat Ripon by three points on Thursday.

Piedmont beat Castro Valley 86-77: Luke Harris scored 35 points for the Highlanders, which are 4-1 with a loss to Campolindo.

Acalanes beat Alhambra 64-56

Acalanes- Scott Ruegg 31 pts, 6 reb, 7 steals and Jake Davis 14pts, 13 reb
Alhambra- Jack Watkins 18 pts, 10 reb and Josh Palmer 16 pts, 6 assists

How has Half Moon Bay managed to play eleven games? That’s as much as some schools have scheduled total. This year is bizarre.

Serra 63 Riordan 55. Crusaders without both King Wilhite and Rob Vaihola. Riordan was down 15 @ half and down as much as 19 during the game before rallying to make it close. Similar to the Campo game where the offense couldn’t get going until it was too late. Serra was Serra playing good D and lightning it up from the 3pt line.

Max preps reporting Jesuit 53-46 over Sheldon.
Jesuit improves to 10-0. Looks like Jesuit, CC, Modesto Christian , and Folsom top dogs in SJS.

Rocklin's only loss in 9 games was that Jesuit game, 68-62.

Rocklin faces 4-0 Folsom tonight. Looks like the NorCal game of the night to catch on NFHS; hopefully Folsom's stream isn't too awful. :)

Hard to fault scheduling this year.
Real good senior class across the board for rocklin. Football, basketball, and baseball.

These is certainly a unique year for HS basketball teams. But other schools (mostly private) have arranged for tough out of league games. I think Capital played Mitty last weekend.

Gotta give credit to Campolindo, Half Moon Bay and Dublin for also teeing up challenging games. More hurdles to clear for these public schools than privates.

Folsom 71-62 over Rocklin, a good game... Rocklin appears just short of the top 2 or 3 in SJS, but not so much they couldn't win if they get another try at Folsom or Jesuit. Speaking of which, Rocklin does get another shot at Folsom, this coming Wednesday at Folsom.

Modesto Christian might be a little too good for anyone in SJS to handle... They looked awful good beating Sheldon.
