Great game. Cal and UVA in OT. Cal should have won this game. They blew a 9 pt lead. Rabb is an animal on the glass. I love his game. Jaylen Brown forces way too much and Jabari Bird isn't getting a lot of love coming off bench. Bird is such a heady player. It just doesn't seem to have clicked.

Cal absolutely blew it. Tyrone Wallace what are you doing! Big time choke job. No moral victories in sports.

Agree Cal choked this game away. Wallace is not a PG imo. He's tall, fast & can dribble. Not a setup guy & can't shoot. Late I saw Singer playing instead of Bird. Kind of a head scratcher & Singer got burned for a big 3ball. Rabb has to get 10+ shots & I don't care how. Great feel & hands. All he needs is some bulk & experience. A setup PG would be nice for him & brown also. I hate Cals Offense also. Bunch of wasted motion w/ no purpose. My bad for rant. This should have been a big W.

Virginia showed why they are national contenders. Very tough, scrappy team. They made the plays late

Rabb 4-6 from floor and 1-1 from line. 9pts and 12 boards. Get the big the ball!! You know how many times I watched people play behind him in the post? Also he is a great passer out of double teams. Bears will be frustrating team this year. Like previous poster said. UVA experience and team play came through big time. Tony Bennett can flat out coach.

Not sure this "big" lineup with Rooks starting is the key. He is terrible. Basically a body. Get JBird back in the lineup. He's a good rebounding guard and can D up 3 positions.

watched the first half on dvr last night, not sure I want to even bother with the 2nd half... was pretty repulsed to see Cal's official twitter and instagram accounts posting things like "what a game!" or how Cal "made a statement" lol what is that?!?!? you lost... don't brag about a loss...

Rooks isn't just a body taking up space on the court, he bogs down the offense terribly. He is out of position on EVERY possession. His defensive skills are non-existent. Only seven footer in history to play five foot eight. A steaming pile of crap.

I was not very impressed with Jaylen brown. He is very strong going to the hoop, but he tends to over dribble and he isn't a great shooter yet. He is strong as heck though. I know a lot of people think Brown is a 1 and done player but right now he needs a lot of work to be NBA ready IMO...I also think Rabb needs more touches. As for bird, he's really not the type of guy that creates his own offense, he plays well with in a system and he has an NBA caliber jumpshot but he has trouble creating for himself but I thought Cals best line up is when Mathews, Bird, Wallace, Rabb, and Brown are all on the floor. Its kind of a small line up but that is their most talented group right there.

Rabb caught a lot of double teams which is smart of VA. You can double off anyone except Mathews and bird but they aren't on the court at the same time often so it makes Rabb an easy guard on offense.

I think Rabb needs 25 lbs and at least two years at this level. I recall that two sets of post player twins who went to stanford all played two and then left. Cal was out "experienced" in this last game. They will be better late in the season if the guys focus on team.
