Got here a little bit into the Freshman game…

Right now, it’s tied at 11.

I have zero idea what the Lancers record is, since there’s practically nothing in their page on Maxpreps. But I know the Cougars have something like a 7-1 record.

Now it’s 15-13 Lancers with a minute left in the 1st.

Anyway, the Varsity…. Cougs are 5-0 with a Gridley trophy in hand. The Lancers are 4-1 against a super-difficult schedule.. I have seen them in-person twice and know they will be very tough here tonight.

SFHS varsity is missing a starter due to COVID protocols but everyone else is a go. Here’s hoping that kind of approach works enough to keep games intact and teams and families healthy, for lots of teams over the end of the pre-season.

That was another great game by the Cougars tonight, both offensively and that stifling D. Scary to think they did that without 2 starters, Robeson & Radell. They’ll be facing some serious nationally ranked competition next week down at Torrey Pines, and it’ll be a tough road to hoe without those 2.

It’s so hard to value chemistry and campo does it so well. These are great teams and at Hs level are hard to beat even with super star lineups by opposing teams.

Agreed. I’m talking about when they travel south next week but I’m hearing lots of cancellations due to Covid
