Cardinal Newman Classic Schedule

YSN365 usually has a few of the Cardinal Newman games. Hoping they stream the SMS-Mitty game too
Ysn365.com will stream the CN vs Branson game AND SMS vs Mitty game on Friday. On Saturday YSN will stream the CN vs Mitty game.
Mitty's first two wins: 77-8 over Heritage who played in last year's NCS Open Division tournament, and then 98-32 over Branson who won a 2022 CIF state title. Their transfers are not even eligible yet.
Excellent point. Mitty continues to assemble a region-wide all-star team. Why would any normal Bay Area unit, especially a public school, even consider playing them? For that matter, why would Mitty want to play them in the first place?
I think it's hard for teams who are of that caliber to find 32 quality games. Traveling costs a lot of money and I'm sure they don't want to play all the Norcal powers 2-3 times a year. Totally get what you're saying
On further review, in January when all of Mitty's players are eligible, it would not be hyperbole to state that, of the six or seven top-ranked prep teams in NorCal, Mitty may well have three of them on its roster: Its starters, its first five reserves and its next five reserves. Ouch.
Its hard for top teams to schedule local games. Teams just don't want to play them. I see this with CN, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for a team like Mitty.
And just like that a team has dropped out of tourney this afternoon that was scheduled to play today and tomorrow.

Well said. You have to fill out the schedule and when you are as talented as Mitty, hard to always find competitive games locally.
Man, Mitty is GOOD! SMS cut the lead to 8 then before you knew it was up by 18. Deep bench and good players. Will be hard to stop them this year
Saw the game replay last night... If SMS could have shot even halfway decent, they could have been a real threat in that game.
Also, Mitty's McKenna Wolitchko (sp), the girl I talked about here after seeing her play in the NorCalTV 8th-grade all-star game, lived up to the hype... Heck of a player!
