Mitty's trademark pressure was on full display. Quick guards, and long, mobile bigs will give teams nightmares.

Pinewood had three very strong ballhandlers on the floor when they squeaked past Mitty last year. I think that sort of approach, or a truly dominant post player is what it will take for someone to knock them off.

Mitty subbing 3 and 4 in at a time with relentless pressure. CN did a decent job with the pressure but 28 minutes of nonstop pressure will eventually wear a team down. To their credit CN didn't get blown out any particular quarter and did give some resistance back to Mitty.

CN is going to have some growing pains this year. Not particularly deep and 5 of the 10 players are seeing their 1st High school minutes. Should be better at the end of the year. But this definitely was a promising showing by the CN squad as they won't see anybody like Mitty the rest of their season.

It looks like no OPEN for CN this year. A NCS D2 playoff seeding and potential for a nice run there.

****I would like to point out to the NCP community that CN has a VERY nice freshman PG named Kate Schat... keep an eye on her.
She played all 32 mins vs Mitty...handled their pressure well and scored 8 pts (2 3s). She looks like the real deal and needs to be on the radar of any Frosh player lists going forward.
