SHC boys and girls teams are each ranked 9th. Irish girls play SH Prep in the first round. Number 1 seed St. Ignatius plays 16th-ranked Carmel.
SHC boys will play at Hillsdale in the first round. The only other WCAL team in Division II is Serra. They're ranked 5th and will play Soquel at home. Sacred Heart Cathedral and Serra split the series during the season. I suspect SHC and Prospect have been placed in the same bracket so that they could meet in the second round for a rematch of last year's CCS tie game for the championship.
