Clay thank you for your work on this. Can you help explain the basketball playoffs a little further. There are going to be 4 Regional Open divisions? How will this work? If this was in place last year who would be in those 4 Open divisions? The basketball playoffs seem very convoluted at this point.

So a team like University could win D4 this year and have to play D1 in Norcal regionals?

This further dilutes all the non-open state "titles". If you win the division 3 title what does that mean? Before it meant that you were the best team in the state within a certain enrollment. Now it means that you are the 35th best team in the state, why award a state "title" at that point? This is all about money.

What they have done with the football playoffs is immoral.
