Crush in the Valley Basketball Showcase will be held Sat. May 1st 2021

The annual "Crush in the Valley" basketball showcase usually held the weekend after MLk weekend in January and featuring CIF, NIAA, and non-CIF teams will be moved this upcoming year to:

Saturday May 1st, 2021 with CIF teams only.

This year's version of the "Crush in the Valley" basketball showcase will be an all-CIF event held on Saturday May 1st only with no NIAA (NV) and no CIF-SS, CIF-SD, CIF-LA teams.

The final game schedule will be made available in a couple weeks once league schedules have been finalized.

This year's version of the "Crush in the Valley" basketball showcase will only feature Northern California teams as most CIF teams will not be able to travel far this upcoming year.

The event will move back to it's original January slot in the year 2022 the following school year.

This year's event will most likely be held in the East Bay.

Prior to COVID-19, The Crush in the Valley Basketball Showcase was going to be held again in January with CIF teams, Grind Session Teams, NIAA teams, CIF-SS teams, and CIF-LA section teams and was going to have 23 games over 3 days and 1 Girls game. It was going to feature the most games in it's 6 year history, eclipsing the 21 game schedule of January of 2020 which sold out on Saturday January 25th, 2020.

Now the annual event will be moved to Saturday May 1st for this upcoming season only, and feature CIF Northern California teams only.
