Dave Jackson, founder of WCJ, has passed

Very sad news. Dave has been battling health problems for several years, and we all knew the end was very near.

A wonderful person, and the driving force behind what has become the biggest high school tournament in the country. It started at his kitchen table, and with his unrelenting drive and sunny personality, he created an enduring legacy. More important, his positivity and upbeat outlook will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I'm really sorry to hear that, Clay. He was always a very kind man and definitely built a marquee event with the West Coast Jamboree
