Dougherty Valley knocked off by San Ramon Valley, No Longer Undefeated

Sevilla tied it at 61 with a corner 3, 28 seconds left...

SRV worked the clock down, got off a wing J that bounced out... but Seamus Deely grabbed the offensive rebound, faded left, and banked it in at the buzzer for the win.

No doubt EBAL is a tough league when was the
Last time dela started 0-2 in league play?

Beasley's fifth foul was a really bad call. Went back and watched on NFHS. There was also a shot that could have been a 3 for Dougherty that was ruled to have bounced off the shot clock above the basket before going in. Couldn't tell for sure on that one.

A great game, no question that each night in EBAL can and will look like this. The players left it all on the floor, the officials did their job, and the environment on a Friday night was what high school sports should be about. No team was robbed and nothing should be questioned. The could have, would have scenario would then have to be open to greater interpretations on multiple moments during the night.
A great contest and evening for two solid teams!

Is younger Beasley a d1 player? He’s on small side but man can he play. His brother is doing well at Montana

Don't know, but their game Wednesday v. Dublin could make that happen...
DLS is actually already 0-2 in EBAL play. If they lose to Dublin it would be 0-3. Plus they lost a close one to Mater Dei after Christmas so they’ve lost 3 in a row now. They do play Capital Christian at home on Monday before the Dublin meeting, so they can snap that losing streak and get back on track with a strong performance.

I’d venture to say DLS hasn’t started 0-2 in league play since the 70s, and maybe never 0-3? They’ve been that solid for that long. The EBAL is just a beast this year.

Apparently, MaxPreps doesn’t seem to realize that California is actually in the EBAL. I didn’t see that they missed that, hence my mistake.
