I like this match-up because this will tell me where my Bulldogs stand. Enterprise, just like Vacaville, is coming of a rout loosing their last game, Enterprise lost to Whitney which scored 54 points on Oak Ridge only to loose by one point and Vacaville got rolled by Oak Ridge. Time will tell if both Whitney and Oak Ridge are the real deal.
The only bad about this game is the huge, almost 3 hour, roadtrip for my Bulldogs which I hope doesn't affect them too much. It'll be interesting to see if these two teams are at about the same level. I'm ready for this roadtrip!

DEFENSE..DEFENSE.DEFENSE!!

GO VACAVILLE BULLDOGS!!!

The Hornets are 1-1. I like your chances in this one. Enterprise is not the team they have been the past few seasons. They will be good because they are well coached. Their arch rival is Paradise in the North section and they also run the wing T so Enterprise is coached to defend it. They defend their turf and looking at the weather it is going to be HOT!!!!!!!! In Reading you can add a few degrees I will guess 90s even at the 730 kick off and it is artificial turf.

Last year it was a close game until Vacaville pulled away with their speed. But both teams aren't the same as they were one or two seasons ago, so it should be even for both.
And oh yeah it's going to be HOT im calling 100 or close to it at around kickoff.

I doubt heat will be the determining factor in this game. It's not like Vacaville is a whole heck of a lot cooler than Redding.

I dont know...is there a Changing of the Guard in Vacaville? Will Vacaville bounce back? Will Wood be the new Guard in town?

@hecanfoos I'm more concerned about the very long trip than the heat, I'm just mentioning the heat just for the heck of it, more because it's going to be unusually warmer than at the start of Varsity games at Vacaville usually its cooling off around gametime, like last Friday I had to put on a sweatshirt before the first qtr ended.

Yes who knows, who knows, its been one game, I guess time will tell, its interesting tho. Nice to see another Vacaville school making some noise.

This is the year that Wood has been building for in the last few years. They should beat Vacaville this year......but doesn't look too good for them after this season.

One year doesn't make for a changing of the guard. If they manage to make it four...five in a row then we're talking.

They are losing a big group of seniors this year and have a JV squad that had 23 players on it opening night.

Time will tell.....

I'll probably be late for this game, I get out of work at 5:30pm and from Sacramento its about a two and a half hour drive up to Redding, most likely I won't be able to post the score in the beginning of the game

Wow just got here and Vacaville starting to look bad again, Enterprise intercepts and a few plays later they score and add an easy 2pt. Conversion

Both teams with no Defense, if Vaca keeps playing defense like this, they are going to be in trouble.

Vacaville pulls an impressive comeback, with 5:20 remaining in the game and trailing by 10pts down by 45-35. Wow what a win BULLDOGS!!!

Vacaville 4th qtr defense last night was the best I've seen in the last two games, that's how they need to play if they want to stay in the game against Granite Bay next Friday.

Huge difference in competition between Enterprise and Granite Bay.

You won't be within 2 TDs of Granite Bay. They breed em different up here;):(

I've heard that before, I'm not sure if someone said the same thing last year and Vacaville put on a defensive show in the Grizzlies home turf, one of the best defensive efforts I've seen ever against a powerhouse program like Granite Bay, winning 14-7. But that was last year, this year our defense hasn't been good but if they play defense like they did in the fourth qtr. at Enterprise I'll be happy even if we loose by more than 2 TDs as you are predicting.
