All 4 teams won comfortably in the opener last night.

be nice to send CC with a loss on the gridiron (Folsom) and hardwood tnite.

I will try and shoot some updates out but I expect much closer games.

Brophy is up 31-21 against Mitty at half.
Brophy has size , shooters , and is well coached. Mitty looks a little stiff. Some good looks but not falling. I think they get back into this game though.

Mitty shot horrible though.

Brophy only loss is 3pt affair to top ranked Arizona school. (Sunny slope)
From what I watched I don’t think Jesuit has the physicality to beat Brophy. I was really impressed with these guys. However, Jesuit also looks really good. Having big football kid patrol the paint is such a luxury for the marauders. Kai Wallin gives Jesuit some size, toughness, and athleticism.
I got brophy winning 65-60.

Watched the semi on YouTube last night. That big kid is tough in the middle…. and Stojakovich is a beast! The final vs Brophy should be a good one!

Kai wallin is real deal kiddman. 6”6 240. Believe he’s getting heavily recruited as a TE.
I have to admit Stojakovich is much better than I expected. He’s got a lot of ceiling. He’s 6”6+ and def looks like he’s still growing. These are the sort of kids that continue to bloom. I could see his stock blow up.
Brophy looked really good to me. They don’t have any glaring weaknesses.

Brophy up 11 now in 3rd. This is a really good team. Strong guards with size.

Brophy wins father Berry 59-46 over Jesuit.
Not surprised at all. Heck of a team. Jesuit is solid but couldn’t match brophys all around play.
