You have the wrong information here; Mater Dei #1 in the Maxpreps site; DLS is in top 25 and your list does not show them. Folsom ranked #25 in one poll only. They do not belong in Top 25.

CalPreps/Freeman rankings appears to be where that list came from. It is not wrong, just one ranking system among many.

Well said. At the end of the day, rankings means nothing. It all plays out on the field. But sniffing the national top 25 on multiple polls is impressive to say the least. Most programs are striving just to hit the top 50 in their own state.

You should address this with the people that made the rankings. It sounds like you have an agenda. It is just rankings. I wouldn't take it personally.

Why not just say "way to go Folsom?" That'd be nice and simple right? Thats what I do for our other great programs.

Congratulations to Folsom, a great achievement. Their continued success has led to national recognition. But now that they are on the national radar, the scheduling expectations will increase as will the scrutiny. It won’t be enough to dominate in the SFL. The pressure will be on to schedule the Mater Deis, the Gormans,SJB etc. But first I think they need to beat DLS. Or at least schedule them in preleague.

That was the computer ranking, the Expert has DLS in top 25, but not Folsom. I'm actually hoping to see Folsom over DLS in the Open game. DLS, got exposed bad this year and would not give them much of a chance against one of the SoCal big dogs. Not saying Folsom would do any better, but would love to see if they could.

One way to look at the Open game is how would DLS and Folsom match up at the end of the year if they played; it would be like the other two games those teams played.
