Folsom vs Heritage GBB

There are few teams that can play that fast. They have guards that lock up 94ft, they can all handle and pass, and they can SHOOT.

I saw Folsom play against Laguna Creek and McClatchy. Folsom won easily in both. Both games were over after halftime. Folsom doesn't get enough credit until you watch them play. Fast, up-tempo, unselfish, but careful with the ball, pressure defense, excellent ball handling, great shooters from 3-pt land, and deep with depth. They play smart too--they understand the game well and execute well. St. Mary's better look out. They will beat the best in NorCal. Just look at the margin of victory in their scores against top teams.

The scary part is their best players are young. This teams a problem

9-0 Folsom at 8-2 Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) tonight, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Oak Ridge's Trojan Toss-up Tournament. They are league rivals and this will be a battle.

Folsom beat Oak Ridge 46-32. Bulldogs look really tough through the first month

Folsom vs. Mitty or Salesian would be a Matchup to see. They’re the best three teams at the moment.

Never underestimate Pinewood. As a grizzled hoops sage well into his third tall G&T once said, "On a given day....look out."

Wow, Heritage is a good team, but the Bulldogs are on a whole ‘nother level.

You wouldn't put St. Mary's in that group? Agree that the other three have all shown very well
Agree. SM has been the De La Salle of girls hoops in the SJS. Losses this season have been to national and state powers. Until someone beats them here, my money is on the Rams.

I would take SMS vs Folsom having seen both play. Huge difference in their schedules. Folsom's style would run into a speed bump against SMS who has better pieces across the board.

Keep your money.

Why would carondelet be at top instantly ? Gotta prove themselves.
No one is putting Carondelet at the top instantly, but they need to be in the conversation. They’ve been playing well, now everyone is eligible, and they just beat Mitty by 11.

carondelet avoiding the platinum bracket should eliminate them from top 10 consideration
They may have tried to avoid the Platinum, but now they’re in the finals. They belong in the conversation as to the top teams in NorCal. Those transfers are tough.
