It was a big opening weekend for the CCS with Serra (over Folsom), St. Francis (over Central Catholic), Aptos (over Oakdale), Salinas (over Clayton Valley Charter) all earning big intersectional wins. The depth of public school programs also showed out with Wilcox winning at Valley Christian, Menlo-Atherton staging a big comeback against Bellarmine and Los Gatos playing competively aginast state ranked Corona del Mar. The tests come again this week with Serra taking on De La Salle, Aptos hosting Campolindo, St. Ignatius hosting Jesuit, St. Francis taking on Monterey Trail, Menlo-Atherton and Elk Grove and Bellarmine traveling to McClymonds.
