This first one is not one of those. Salesian has a HUGE athletic edge, and has also played poorly in the tourney and would LOVE to have a smooth, pretty game. Recipe for a monster blowout…

So, what’s up later? Let’s start with the next game, Dublin vs. Sheldon. The biggest story is Dublin’s Coutney Anderson jr. The kid has been a scoring machine thus far, piling up 67 points in the first two games, and the all-time GIBT record is not completely out of reach. Certainly a longshot, but at the rate he’s been going, 39 points it at least kinda-sorta possible. This record has stood since 1968, long before the 3-point line existed. The record-setter was Jay Olsen of Gridley. Hard to imagine what that record would have been with the 3-pointer…. Saw Olson last night, I’d say he was 5’8” at most.
