Jake Browning vs. Jared Goff

He did. I think Cal should be in the Top 25...they are that good.

Goff run at the end was a big boy play...... Once they learn to close out a game they will be top 25, they are in that group of next 5 in

Good game. Bad throw at the end for the pick will be a learning experience.

Goff is very good. Probably one of the better QB prospects I've seen on the west coast in awhile. He has a couple awesome weapons. (Lawler). Cal is a top 25 team. They will be 5-0 going into the UTAH game in 2 weeks. Browning is going to be special in another year or so. It will take time for Wash to rebuild that program. No different than Dykes did at Cal.

I agree with you about Cal. They are a top 25 team. We will learn a lot about them when they play Utah. Did you see what Utah did to Oregon last night? Wow!

Browning will be good in a few years, but the best freshmen qb in the PAC 12, by far, is Josh Rosen. He was the best California hsqb last year. Browning got all the ink because Folsom had a weak schedule and the coaches kept him in all game.

He got all of the ink because he set every passing record in the nation and played on the best team in the state. Period.

Browning is already good. Arguably better than Rosen. UCLA has a much better team than Washington. Washington is a young team in rebuild mode.

I find it funny in regards to all the Folsom hate still...We must have really been that good. Lol.

Weak schedule- best league in Northern CA.

Coaches kept him in- Almost NEVER played into the 4th quarter in 3 years. Still set every national passing record.

Lollllllll. The hate is real haha

Rosen and Browning will both have very productive college careers. UCLA obviously has more talent around Rosen. Both are true freshman so there will be ups and downs. Neither one of them look amazing but they have looked far from bad.

Goff is the real deal. He is probably the top QB prospect for NFL if he decides to come out early (which he should if he is top ranked QB).

Agreed. I think Goff will be a top pick in the draft. He is that good.

Folsom
Browning blah blah blah

Folsom and Browning were exposed when they played DLS

He started his career throwing 10 TD passes in one game vs a weak northern school. Those coaches at Folsom have serious issues - probably due to their own poor careers and try to pass their way (most coaches would have removed the starter after 4 or 5 TD passes) into history to reclaim the legacy they lost as athletes.

Folsom is a joke.

"He played on the best team in the state"

that is provably false

you can have your own (BIASED) opinions, but you can't make up your own facts

saying something does not make it true

8 total messages?

This is a total TROLL account. LOL.

I can tell you are young because there are at least 5 misspellings in all of your messages! LMFAO!!!

Folsom OWNS you ;)

And I know you are not from Folsom because our school system would have produced a much better speller ;)

Rosen has so many weapons at UCLA. Not even a comparison with talent. I really liked what I see in UTAH though. Funky 6"7 QB with some real talent and how about Booker from Grant? He is tearing it up. So far UTAH is the best I've seen in the Pac 12. That win against Michigan is looking more impressive because Michigan looks to be better than most of us expected. I would think UTAH gets near top 10 after that performance. I'm wondering if that is the worse loss for Oregon at home? They got embarrassed. The kid from MV is just not a good fit in that system. (Lockie)

Anbody catch the Arizona game? Was it me or was Randall from AZ at QB the fastest player you've seen? He looked like he had a gear I've never seen before. Get this guy some touches. He's not a QB but he should be playing somewhere.

Utah is scary!

I never thought Oregon would get torched like that!

Cal has a top 25 offense, but they are terrible on defense. It will be their undoing once again this season...

RIvals and Scout had Rosen listed as the #1 overall QB. Despite alll the Folsom/Browning hate, Browning is a legit D1 QB, he beat out Carta-Samuels and three other QBs for the starting spot and HC Chris Peterson has a good eye for QBs.

You can't really compare Browning to Rosen - Browning is playing behind 3 freshman offensive linemen, Rosen is playing behind 5 returning starters on UCLA's O-line. Also UCLA has better skill position players as well, UCLA as a whole is looking like they have a shot at the 4-team playoff this year.

Finally, someone says something about Browning that makes sense!

Thanks Hatchball!
