What a shame...really had that program heading in the right direction. Best JC coach in the East Bay IMHO...recruited hard and had his guys playing hard! Any word on why he left?

probably easier to recruit to San Pablo. housing available. easy bart ride to school.

He took that program to the playoffs for the first time in 30 years. GPA was up over 3.0 and had nothing but trouble over there. I see this years team and it was loaded. Had changed the culture over there. Alameda was one of the worst teams in juco before he got there. I heard the new AD came in and was trying to backstab him. He is to good of a college to waste there any way. We talking about someone who won Nike PeachJam. The good thing is his most of his players followed him and now Alameda has to play him twice a year.
