I do think the team that is better containing the other team's star player should win the game. If Clet is unable to slow down Jordan Sweeney and Ali Bambeger is somewhat contained and/ or in early foul trouble things could get very interesting.
The margin of victory in the NCS Championship matchup of these two is trending downward.
The first time the two matched up Clet won by 25 points 56 to 31. Last season Heritage stormed out with an early 11 to 2 lead. And the game was close going into the 4th quarter before Clet pulled off the 13 point victory 71-58. I think it's fair to say C-let is about a 10 point favorite. Unforced turn-overs (nerves) and foul shots (nerves) may also factor in a bit. One never knows how the ball will bounce game to game.
As I have mentioned it's always tough to beat a good team 3 straight. Preparation and mental focus will be important to set an early tone. It should be interesting to see how tight it is officiated, and what game plans and adjustments are used by both teams should things get into a chess match.
