Let's see...
First game could have blowout potential, with SPSV having to almost completely rebuild while nearly all of Las Lomas' solid 2017 squad returns... At least LL's run-n-gun style is entertaining.
2nd game has two teams that will need a big rebuild after losing their studs to prep academies and/or graduation, but they could be well-matched and make for a good contest even if's not really high-level play.
3rd game, Oak Park (near Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley) went 23-9 last year and has their top 4 players back this year; those four accounted for about 60 of their 69 ppg last year, one of 'em will be a soph this year, the other three will be seniors. One of the seniors, Riley Battin (committed to Utah), is 6'10" and scored just under 25 ppg last season. Valley Christian should have its best team in recent memory, but despite that it looks tough for them, both here and in the loaded WCAL.
4th game, see HEAT's above post.
5th game, DLS will have its hands full with what should be a powerful Damien squad, but DLS is DLS... Sparty will not go down without a fight no matter how they seem to match up.
6th game should be a barnburner.
Maybe not a really great slate, but certainly pretty darned good. I'll be there all day
p.s. I just found and watched last year's Oak Park-Foothills Christian playoff game... What a game! And a great job on the video... It's not often a 15-minute highlight video really gets you a good feel for the flow of a game as well as this one did.
