1) I've always had an affinity for gyms with a stage on one end... (Not fully sure why, but it is what it is)

2) I generally favor older gyms like this... One reason is, that in most of 'em the fans are right on top of the court, which helps with my Reason 5.

3) Miramonte's sound system is excellent, featuring Klipsch speakers...

4) Viewing angles and lighting are good for the most part...

5) Atmosphere at their games is great (I hafta admit that I'm mostly only there for the fantastic Campo rivalry games, so maybe it's not so much for other games, dunno).

6) The size is just right for most games, too... I think slightly more seating than at DLS, for example.

7) They call it the MATADOME! A gym with a name like that *has* to be good...

On the minus side, since I don't play and never had any ability when I was young back in the Stone Age, so I can't speak as to quality and condition of the floor. Looks fine from the stands, tho...

Also have to admit that, especially on the side across from the benches, ingress and egress aren't great... Prepare to get stepped over a LOT. (Solution: Sit on the other side, it's just fine there, usually)

All of the scoreboards are antiquated and malfunction on a regular basis.

I am awe with the amount of donations. Just reflection of Oscar’s character

Looking forward to hearing your take on EBAL Mountain Division

All of the scoreboards are antiquated and malfunction on a regular basis.
Only time I’ve ever seen them “malfunction” was when Campo was comfortably ahead of the home team as time ran out. In that case, the boards would “mysteriously” clear to zero 0.00000000001 seconds after the horn. Gee…. I wonder why that would happen?? 🤣

But yes, the boards are old-fashioned looking. Very small quibble. extremely small, tiny in fact.

Maybe the above-mentioned big donations will help Miramonte get the apparently needed new scoreboards, but I bet there are more-pressing things to worry about…
