PG Like the way you changed your pics . I'm kicking myself for not picking Elk Grove. I thought they were one dimensional with Robards. I didn't think he would get 5 first half tds. Well at least I only picked grant at 1

I didn't pick DO so much for thinking they were better, but that maybe Folsom is over-rated, after watching last week's GB-Folsom game where pretty much after Folsom took not that much of a lead, it seems half the team forgot there was still a game going on and went to Disneyland to celebrate their end of year championship. I'm not hearing that Folsom was all that good, tonight, but that DO was not all that good tonight. I haven't looked, but is there anyone rest of season, before the post-season, that could give Folsom a battle from the 1st qtr on? Muds

Back to the drawing board for my picks. I got my lunch handed to me.

Thanks Heat. Yeah, I had Wilcox, Paradise, Piedmont and Rocklin before I did some more research on some of the outcomes of their previous games. I went with Los Gatos because it was a home game and Wilcox only impressive win was at home against San Benito. I actually almost left Paradise at the 10 spot until I saw their best win was a flakey Casa Roble team. I also felt good about Chico having a strong game at home (Pleasant Valley). I switched to Mack because all of their wins have been on the road and Piedmont's last game against Salesian at home wasn't pretty. I knew Mack was at least two to three scores better than Salesian. I switched to OR because they play strong at the house and I figured they would win a shootout at the house. Just all luck at the end of the day. Btw, I went back to 2012 where EG went into Grants stadium and stole their lunch money 24-0. That made me drop Grant from pick #8 to pick #2.

You heard "Folsom is not all that good!?" Are you kidding me!?

EVERYONE on here was saying how good Del Oro was for taking Bellarmine to the final bell. They actually should have won that game. Del Oro was supposedly very tough and just made some bad mental errors to not close out games.

Well, they were SHUT OUT last night against a team that "is not all that good!?" What planet are you on? Folsom put 31 points on them and controlled the entire game. They could have put up 50, but opted to keep the clock running the entire 4th quarter.

Hi G61. I did not mean to offend. No doubt, Folsom is a read deal, it's just that when I saw them playing Granite Bay, last week, something odd seemed to shift within the entire team after the 1st quarter allowing GB to march downfield and pretty much make Folsom look rather unspectacular, complacent even, the rest of the game. But hey, if you go back a week ago to my running posts of the game, you will find that, at one point, before what seemed to me to be a let-down, I compared Folsom to DeLaSalle. So, for sure, Folsom impresses me, but were they that amazing last night? Or was a good Oro team having a horribly off night? Or both? Just saying. Just wondering. It's sort of like Grant, that year, when everyone and his mother was so sure they were heading toward the State Bowl championship (with me being the dark bastid voice of doubt about a few things I spotted) and, all a sudden, in the final seconds of the Pacers last game of the year, after 4-Pacer attempts to win from the 1 yard line, a team called Rocklin exploited the weak spot and got in the way of Grant's running the table that year. Muds

Its all good. No offense taken.

Del Oro was way off their game. But, Folsom played amazing, especially on the defensive end.
