NCS seedings projections? Div 3-5

some one take a shot at seeding for me. I'm from the HDN so I don't even have an educated guess.

I'll take a crack at NCS D3..


1. Salesian
2. CN
3. SJND

SJND has a win over SHC and CN lost to them so potentially 2 and 3 could be switched...but CN SOS and MaxPrep rankings are significantly higher....so I think the difference will be too much to justify a seeding change over one early season loss.

no one else is even close.....

next group...

4. Eureka
5. Kennedy... league champ gets them a little bump up over a bunch of similiar level teams
6. Analy...win/loss vs Drake but has a win vs Ukiah who beat Drake...plus I think the NBL is quite a bit better of a league than the MCAL. So NBL gets seeding nod over Drake and San Marin MCAL squads.
7. Drake.... win/loss to analy but loss to ukiah
8. Encinal...finishes strong after slow start....gets a home game
9. San Marin...see above (#6)
10. Alhambra
11. Hercules
12. Piner...avoids Salesian, CN and SJND so I assume will apply this year after deciding NOT to last yr because they didn't want to play Salesian or CN in 1st round and get creamed (coach's own words, not mine)
13. Moreau Catholic *** I think MC will lose their last 2 games and be 11-15 for seeding but will qualify because of .500 league record.

14,15,16.... No 1 qualifies

I took league titles into consideration and strength of leagues into consideration so I deviated slightly from the MaxPrep rankings that I know the NCS Committee will use as 1 of the criteria.

After Alhambra's win over Acalanes, probably the No. 5 seed in D-2, Alhambra may get a bit of a boost. Jason Bautista has done a good job rebuilding that program -- the JVs are good too.
