Pitt's defense giving up 49 points to anyone not named DLS is shocking. Especially after having shut out Cal in week 1 and giving up 28 to SRV last week. Was MV moving the ball through the air? Ground? Both? On the other hand, Pitt's offense was nearly non-existent vs. Cal, and now has put up 42 in 2 straight weeks. Pitt going 2-1 vs. EBAL teams is still a good result. Looks like MV and Foothill will be the teams to beat in the EBAL with SRV losing to Logan and AV losing to Freedom tonight.

Monte Vista has a QB in Jake Haerner. Could be poised for a bounce back year.

I wonder how Pitt's upcoming star #15 A'jae Boyd is doing. On 2nd to last play 1 min left , 2 big MV players #53 and maybe #70 sandwiched hit him and he was down 15 mins and couldn't get up. Was clutching his chest going up. #2 Jordan Parker was also hustled by #53 on Pitts punt return and they had a slugfest for awhile there the refs didn't notice. MV #53 was dirtiest player in the field all night. No wonder DLS and MV play in past several years have always been a killing field. MV slugs it out at all cost in desperation to win.

I hope Pitt plays them in playoff.
