Almost a thriller at the end as DV caught up in last 8 mins of 4th with Pitt24 and DV 20 after a TD drive by the Wolverines led by RB Sean Alexander. DV could've won it had their tall WRs caught 5 long passes.

Wow sounds like it was a great game

Saw some disturbing video regarding the DV team and the Pit band. Not jumping to conclusions though, curious of the context.

I want to see CAMPO playing some EBAL schools and more D1 opponents. The put up 49 points on DV in rout.

I've been saying that for years. No reason Campo shouldn't be playing some EBAL schools. They can compete and those would be some great games to see. Make it happen Campo.

I heard about the videos too Kriart. Surprising after I heard Hubbard was a class act. People I talked to say the Pittsburg administration was a big problem as well with no organization last night. Basically both parties at fault. I know Freedom has had numerous run ins with the Pittsburg band before games at Pitt.

The reason is quite simple, really. Few D1 programs want to schedule Campo, for fear of losing to a D3 school. Campo has tried to schedule some EBAL teams to no avail. BVAL schools, Heritage & Deer Valley have stepped up recently. D1 Napa defeated Campo this season in a great game, so there are some programs who are willing to take them on.

Next season Clayton Valley will join the expanded DFAL/DVAL league which should provide some very competitive games with Campo & Miramonte. The big game in the DFAL will be in 2 weeks when the likely 8-0 Matadors come to Moraga to face the 7-1 Cougars for the DFAL championship. Campo has won 28 consecutive league games but just might be an underdog in this game.

why are the band and the visiting team anywhere near each other? Was this during the designated warm up period? Either way, coaches need to be held responsible.

I wasn't there, but since the story notes that the band was out to do the National Anthem and also that DV got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, my guess is the band was out there because they were supposed to be.
