Saw a posting that Riordan is looking for a varsity head coach. Anybody have news on that? Modeste gone?

As of this morning, nothing has been confirmed. Riordan website still shows Modeste as HC of the football program.

No announcement from Riordan. Still seems rather iffy. But maybe not. Curious. Seems like Modeste just arrived on what was Phelan Avenue.

What are the issues at Riordan? I am an outsider w/all my football coaching experience in public schools only. Would like to hear from WCAL supporters on this.
Is it admin (admin always gets blamed rt or wrong).
Do the area kids want to go to Riordan? Would they rather attend other WCAL schools?
Can they hire a HC and a top assistant for teaching jobs?

Are you sure Harbaugh isn't in the mix ? He has ties to San Francisco which he may be trying to make amends. Finally got the bIG bLUE back on top of Mt Ten. Gotta start somewhere.
If true Riordan will be looking for a new coach in 2025. Taufoou moves around a lot and like the New York Jets Riordan is averse to stability when it comes to Football

Big news. Always tough for programs that build up to a season like SHC just had and then have a coaching transition.
Seems some of the people here were utterly clueless. Some of us knew the correct story several days ago.

Modeste is great coach and O’Dowd would be fortunate to have him.
