A Riordan Chaminade final would have been cool, Texas style. Being the Riordan state title team beat Chaminade when they hosted a nice little tourney.

There’s no shot clock in TX. Hoop appears to have a lid as Crusader shots go in n out and not falling. Moeller playing very deliberate. Riordan needs to put bodies on players underneath and pass the ball rather than dribbling against the zone.

Crusaders had their chances, but falls short.
Riordan outscored Moellet 13-5 n the third. Moeller took over 2min off the clock in the 4th after Riordan scored to tie the game late. Really pathetic with no shot clock as Riordan was getting going.

I'll never understand why some states have shot clock and some don't. The difference is huge.

Personally, anything JV and above should have a shot clock, and this game score is proof why.

Imagine watching a game for 2 minutes, where the same team has the ball and hasn't taken a shot during said 2 minutes.......AWFUL!

Caught the livestream yesterday. Moeller went into a 4 corner offense in the closing minutes to also surprise the game announcers. Riordan stepped up their D and tied the game late. They were down 3 and had the last shot opportunity to tie and go into OT, but could not hit the shot. Pretty hard to watch the Moeller offense as it was like watching paint dry. The pace made the WCAL look like run and gun. lol
They play St. Michaels- Austin, TX in the 3rd place game at 1pm PST.
