Two big positions have just opened up in San Jose.
Anthony Cuellar, who took over at Piedmont Hills for Pete Simos and led the Pirates to a CCS Division I title this year, left his alma mater for Willow Glen. WG offered him a full-time teaching position in addition to the coaching job.
Mark DeLuca is stepping aside at Valley Christian, at least for the upcoming season. He'll still be working with the program in an administrative role and serving as the school's Director of Annual Giving, but he won't be as involved on a day-to-day basis. He said his youngest son needs extra attention.
