I believe SJND led wire-to-wire, but if not, almost the entire game. Carondelet made a run late as SJND's youngsters tried to deal with the pressure of closing out their biggest win in memory.
But despite some late turnovers and missed free throws that gave Carondelet the ball at the offensive end with seven seconds left with a one-point deficit, an errant post entry (out of bounds) sealed the win for a team that will a) now be in the top ten in NorCal, and b) given its high probability of winning NCS D4, could well wind up in the Open.
A great win for Shawn Hipol and the Pilots, and much deserved. The youngsters withstood the heat and got the job done ...
