Getting this set up. Light night with just two games before a packed Saturday.

Safety named Brian Dukes from MDC recent CP commit. Dukes highly regarded missed most of the season good get for CP

WOW - 1:25 minutes is the longest time drive so far in SBG game.

If this game is out of hand at halftime I’m switching to my recording of Montana/James Madison 😜

If CC has a TE a little pass to him now and then might help.A quick slant maybe, gotta do something to keep MDC D honest.THey cant get into a track meet

MCC leads 27-13 at the half. Raiders able to stop the onslaught and keep this a game

Central Catholic’s receiver routes just take forever. They don’t have the speed to beat anyone down the field.

Plus their QB just doesn't look comfortable trying to pass CC back into the game. Just not who they are

At that point, they might as well as continued to pound it inside. The MDC d-line was getting visibly exhausted after the last TD drive. Hoping that a run pops was probably more realistic than them driving down the field in the air.

Agreed they should just kept pounding the ball
Given that the average football fan doesn’t really understand game planning, these stands would have erupted… but, it would have been the best option.

CC struggled in the passing game. It's quite a challenge to play in this high of a bowl game with only 350 students (coed). I guess it's the price they have to pay for winning previous state bowl games and getting pushed up a division every year. Good effort boys

Same thing happened when McClymonds was in D2 with 320 students, who was pushed up 4 divisions in the last SBG, it's tough,, Bigger school's depth can come into play because they have larger enrollment pool. Small schools can go good with maybe the first 11-17 and mostly all going both ways all game, but after that it's a fall off in the quality of players compared to larger schools of like 1200-5000 student schools.

I think this division was fine for Central Catholic. This is about where you would expect the SJS D-2 champ to play. Sometimes, you just lose a game. They represented themselves well.
