Granada has been playing tough football all season, but Friday night, saw the matadors dump monte Vista who they have not beaten in some time.....Monte Vista has been winning football games, but at the same time they have been struggling and Granada came in, prepared and upset Monte Vista 27-24......The Pick was 28-24 and it looked like Granada was ripe for a win over monte Vista.

Looking back at the history between Monte Vista and Granada, the last time Granada beat Monte Vista was in 2013 when they nailed the Mustangs 41-9.
2014.....MV won 30-27
2015.....MV won 42-32
2016.....MV won 35-14....so in the past, there were some close battles between MV and Granada.....

Granada has one weird schedule this year; the Monte Vista game capped off their FIFTH home EBAL in a row! They finish with 3 on the road. Seems odd not to have 4-4 home/away in the league, and even odder to have two long stretches of home/away. Kind of funny to have 'homecoming' in the midst of a 5-game home stand!

Wait until the 2018 season when the league is divided....Each team will have at least one more preseason game or more and with Granada ad Amador Valley in the same league, we will see a real show down EBAL style....B league wise...Another thing is the choices each team makes for the preseason.,,,,Both Granada and Amador Valley will be hard to beat...
