Keep up the good work on the updates Jordan24. It sounds like a good game so far.

27-24 Riordan. End of 3rd. Crusaders driving @ VC 16. 1st down

45-27 VC Final. VC D converts on turnovers for TDs keys to the game. Good game Warriors!

Gosh,

I wish I could be more upset, Riordan gave up two TO and VC made them pay. Great Job VC and to be candid, I am passively glad we lost this one and hope we see you in CCS. I get the impressions the bag of marbles will have more value. It does upset me to become a Bellarmine Fan...Though (lol)

Even with my youngest attending VC for one semester....I seemed to forget how flicking far that drive was....

But the motivating statement as I walked off the field was, "The Irish will pay"

The only way this will not sting as we push through to challenge the Lancers, is to shut out SHC!!!!

The best was to get over a painful loss is to inflect plan to a city rival....

The Crusaders are marching through and over the Irish....can you hear that sound Irish toast & teddy?

Interesting that the Crusader offense went to an empty backfield for most of the game. It would of been nice to see the Crusaders run the ball more, especially when they were knocking on the door in the 4th which would've given Riordan a 10pt lead. Pick 6 basically sealed the game. Time to get back to the grind and finish the season strong. Jamarian left the game early 2nd half and did not return. Crusaders could have used him as he was pretty tough in the VC backfield. Hope he's ok

This is what this season has been about in a nutshell for the WCAL. Turnovers and Special teams! I cant remember a year where so many punt return for tds, kickoff returns for tds, fumble return for tds, interceptions for tds has happened! How many plays over 50 yards this year? Cant even count them. This year is about taking care of the ball, but I will say it makes it that more exciting. I'm loving it!

Yeah, VC forgot that Verba-Hamilton was back to return punts, too. He's got uncanny anticipation and vision to go along with his speed. VC jrs Kendrick and Sturns are very good.

For being predicted to possibly tie for last place and to be in the hunt for WCAL championship....Riordan has truly out produce pundits expectations. What it exciting, the envelop is still being pushed. VC played exceptional last and executed on stumbles by Riordan. But one could say the Crusaders beat themselves.

After the stumble on Halloween Eve, the trajectory is fairly clear of non-loss schedule until CCS buzzer sounds.

Every team meets themselves in the crossroads of a season, and potentially can grow from it. Riordan's stumble on the Hilltop will be looked back on and seen as this...

We Are One...We R Riordan

First time watching Riordan last night and their speed jumps out at you. I don't think VC is a slow team but they looked it at times on Friday. Difference was VC was more physical up front and were able to control possession with their three backs.

Is this an aberration this year or the result of the new limits on practice time in pads etc...
