According to Scott Reid, MD coach's wife "hand checked" MD President Father Jenkins when he tried to congratulate her postgame. Hopefully, her POS husband is gone. If so, congratulations to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange County.

As ridiculous as you could possibly be

How come ANY complaint, no matter how obvious and blatant, against ANY school in SoCal, you feel the need to come on a NorCal forum and defend?

It's truly bizarre. You need a home man.
hey i LOVE LA too. but i wont defend this craziness. But I am a public school grad, who beat MD a few times. but i still dont like them

Regardless of how you feel about this situation, things need to play out, till all the facts are known.

Based on what is known, HC, coaching staff, AD, and Principal should all loose their jobs whether they knew about it or not. One of the biggest issues we have in many places these days is nobody takes responsibility. If you have a job to lead, you are responsible for everything that goes on. End of.

Was that kid that has brain damage given due process? If not for the video tape it would have been swept under the rug by the school/church as "our internal investigation found no wrongoing".
By definition he was given due process when the DA found no criminality or evidence of hazing

So I guess by your standard we would have no coaches or administrators left in the country. Hold these people responsible for action they had no clue about? Seems totally legit.

Reports are kid was a willing participant and it wasn’t his first time playing “bodies” it was however more likely than not his first time losing.

But that’s the thing, none of us know everything yet.We are just hearing one side yet 99% of y’all want criminal charges and firing. How bout we hear the other side before making a judgement is what I’m saying

It is, you are clearly not in a leadership position, thankfully.

Gentleman let’s be serious here. Are the reports we are hearing at this moment very disturbing, absolutely. It is very distributing and some of what we have read so far disgusting as well. However as ararar has said the DA found nothing as of yet. Does that mean more will not surface, possibly. But at the end of the day if this all comes down to a fight and not hazing, many of you are going to look pretty darn dumb. Let the investigation play itself fully out. Mater Dei has been a powerhouse with major alumni and parent funding. They are in the media spotlight all the time. If this was the norm something like this would have come out multiple times over the years. Not saying it didn’t happen, but for Christ’s sakes let the thing play out. Sure we have the reporter in LA tweeting what he is. With accusations like this you think everyone is walking around all smiles. In the world of social media and media as a whole, Mater Dei could end up being free and clear yet this incident will never go away. If I am Rollinson, I am retiring either way. I wouldn’t want that cloud over my head as this will never go away guilty or innocent. Part of the reason our nation is going backwards

Ararar, I have seen the video. I agree with you though it has to play out but that's evidence that this went on, even if full context is not completely understood.

The fact that they call it "Bodies" means, this wasn't a one-off confrontation but it was a practice, or they would call it 'a game'.

This will go to the civil courts, likely, and the school will do their investigation but this was obviously going on at the school, otherwise they wouldn't have a name for it. A child was hurt badly, and it appears it could have been prevented given it was a practice in their program.

But I agree with you that it needs to be played out. The investigation by the DA is only part of that.

Those of us reacting, I hope, are doing it out of concern for the kid who was hurt. I am not naive enough to know young men do stupid things, I was once one of them.

Ridge you make a great point, “bodies” adds to the situation big time. We will see how this all shakes out.

I agree.I don’t know if MD is negligent or not but I just want people to listen to their side before forming an opinion

1. You have no clue my position in life.
2. it’s a ridiculous position to take.
3. so for example should Pitt coach and Admin all be fired because a player brought a gun to school a few years back? What about DLS replace all them because some players assaulted a girl? Or CV replace everybody because a few strong arm robbed some kids? You can see how this would lead to no coaches no admin real quick.

It adds nothing. Heck when I was a kid many many moons ago we played knuckles. Did the name change the game and make it worse? No, it was a game of reflexes and pain simple as that. Was it the right thing to do? Probably not but it’s what boys do.

What you say is true, problem is NOBODY from MD is saying anything. People want to hear from an MD representative about what happened. The DA has publicly stated that no charges are going to be filed against MD, so MD remaining silent about it is not a good look from a PR perspective

True but from a legal standpoint it’s the procedure when you’re getting sued.Any competent counsel would instruct their client likewise

Yes I get that, just wondering why people are continuing to put such pressure on MD when they know MD is being sued and therefore cannot/will not comment. It may not be the wise legal thing to do, but until MD makes a public statement they are going to be destroyed from a publicity standpoint. I was totally shocked that the LAT would have Plashke come on at halftime to talk about it.

It’s no secret down here that the HS sports reporter for the Times dislikes MD since they sued the SS and essentially won which forced the Section to throw up their hands in defeat regarding transferring

Another of your lies. Don't you get tired of making false statements?

BTW, are you the person known as Stuart Hall Guy or am I confusing you with someone else?

😂 barking up the wrong tree
I only deal in known truths or what I see with my eyes…you are extremely suspicious of being a Folsom fan😂

Really? I didn’t realize this I guess. Who lost their job for example over the Mixon incident? It’s not like that case wasn’t reported on everywhere. Refresh my memory who got canned?
Mixon knocked a girl out outside of a football facility. I don’t condone but much different.

Your examples, frankly, "suck". This appears to be a practice going on AT the school, not a "one off" incident or crime outside the context of the school. You are smarter than that.

That’s just it these types of things go on at most every school or program. This doesn’t seem to be a tradition that’s condoned by the program but time will tell, if it is than clean house. If it’s kids acting like kids so be it. You’re ready to convict and have zero clue here frankly, I think the fact the DA isn’t filing speaks volumes personally especially knowing how they are in OC.
