Warriors win on walk off HBP

[Streak One]

Steven Zobac was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the seventh in Valley Christian's 4-3 win over Los Gatos. It is the second straight CCS Open Division title for the Warriors.

Senior Patrick Wicklander tossed a complete game with 10 strikeouts.

Los Gatos tied the game at three with two runs in the top of the seventh, including an unearned run. Luke Short threw six innings of three run ball.

Tommy Troy went 2-for-4 with a stolen base for Los Gatos.

Streak, Wicklander was pulled at end of the sixth. Zobac pitched the seventh.

Great game, but it very un-dramatic finish. It was like "Oh the game is over". No heroics at the end. LG never gave up and and had some excellent at bats in the 7th to tie it. What a season for the Warriors. It will be hard to ever top this season. 29-3-1 with all the losses coming in league play where every game a was grind.
