Going to post some updates throughout the college season.

California beat Cal State Northridge 86-56. Peanut Tuitele (Pleasant Valley) had a team high nine rebounds. Karisma Ortiz (Mitty) had six points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Washington beat Utah Tech 87-74. Hailey Van Dyke (Campolindo) had 15 points and five rebounds. Elle Ladine (Pinewood) had seven points, four rebounds and five assists in her college debut.

St. Mary's beat Nevada 67-58 behind 14 points and 17 rebounds from Ali Bamberger (Carondelet). Clair Steele (Miramonte) added 12 points. For Nevada, Lexie Givens (Alameda) went for nine points and eight rebounds.
 
Great thread. Here are some of the norcal natives that I ran across while skimming box scores last night. I am sure there are many more that I missed. Pretty bay area heavy as I don't know Sac area as well, but very cool to see so many contributing on the next level

In addition to the ones mentioned in the Cal/CSUN game, Mia Mastrov (Mirarmonte) and Amaya Bonner (BOD) saw the floor for Cal and Rachel Harvey (St Ignatius) got in the game for CSUN.

Stanford beat SDSU 86-48. Haley Jones (Mitty) had 6pts, 4reb, 5asst. Hannah Jump (Pinewwood) started and added 3pts. Talana Lepolo (SJND/C-let) came off the bench and dished out 11 assts. For SDSU, Natalija Grizelji (St Francis) got to see the floor.

Washington St beat LMU 93-41. Former St Marys Stockton teammates Ariel Johnson and Amaya Oliver both played for LMU. Johnson the leading scorer with 12.

UOP beat UC Riverside 83-61. Maddie Ennis (St Ignatius) lead the team in minutes from the bench and chipped in 9 pts. Mele Finau (Dublin) started for Riverside and scored 6pts to go along with 5 boards.

UCSB beat Santa Clara 73-61. Ila Lane (Woodside Priory) had a double double with 17 and 11 rebs. Anya Choice (Cardinal Newman) started and scores 12 to go along with 7 rebs. Tatyana Modawar (C-let) and Kennedy Johnson (BOD) come off the bench and contribute. Ashley Hiraki (Mitty) and Ayzhiana Basallo (St Ignatius/Cal Poly/ SJSU/ ASU) both started and played significant minutes chipping in 4 and 8 pts respectively for Santa Clara in the losing effort.

Harvard beat Rhode Island 88-74. McKenzie Forbes (Folsom/Cal) scores 20pts and grabs 7rebs in the win.

USD beat Biola 75-47. Myah Pace (BOD) started for USD and scored 7pts and grabbed 7rebs. Kylie Horstmeyer (Redwood) chipped in 10 off the bench.

Oregon State beat Hawaii 61-60. Ashley Thoms (Campolindo) started for Hawaii in the almost upset.

UCLA beat Cal Poly SLO 84-48. Cal Poly was lead by Sydney Bourland (Mitty) with 11pts, 4rebs, 3assts. Annika Shah (Palo Alto) started and chipped in 4pts. Maia Garcia (Pinewood) got some minutes off the bench.

Duke beat North Carolina A&T 77-57. Nyah Willis (Valley Christian SJ) scored 10 from the bench for NC A&T.

Boise State beat Weber State 63-52 as Abby Muse (Heritage) had 18 points, nine rebounds, three steals and four blocks. Jadyn Matthews (Enterprise) had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Weber State.

San Jose State lost to Cal State Fullerton 71-63 despite Jada Holland (Bishop O'Dowd) had 16 points, five assists and six steals. Freshman Sabrina Ma (St. Ignatius) had 13 points in 20 mins off the bench.

Three NorCal players got the start for Stanford in its 87-47 win over Portland. Haley Jones (Mitty) had 17 points and seven rebounds. Hannah Jump (Pinewood) had eight points and Talana Lepolo (Carondelet) had four points and nine assists.

On Friday, Santa Clara beat Cal State Fullerton 76-72 as Ayzhiana Basallo (St. Ignatius) finished with 22 points, four rebounds and five assists
 
A few more:

Una Jovanovich (Pinewood) started for Fullerton v. SJSU and had 10 points. Katie Springs (Mitty) had a bucket for UCSD in a loss. Chance Bucher (Pinewood) saw the floor against Stanford, and had an assist.

Cal Poly won it's first game of the year against D3 Simpson College. Natalia Ackerman (Aptos) led the way with 12. Maia Garcia (Pinewood) had 9. Sydney Bourland (Mitty) contributed 8 and Anika Shah (Paly) had 6.
 
Sacramento State beat Santa Clara 73-63 on Monday. Madison Butcher (Del Oro) scored five points in 18 minutes off the bench. Ayzhiana Basallo (St. Ignatius) had a team high 17 poihnts for Santa Clara

Donja Payne (East Union/Delta) had 18 points and 10 rebounds in Cal Poly Pomona's 81-71 win over Biola.

In UC Davis' 69-62 win over Boise State, Megan Norris (Sacred Heart Prep) had six points and four rebounds for the Aggies. For the Broncos, freshman Natalie Pasco (San Ramon Valley) had 12 points in 25 minutes off the bench.

Washington beat UC Irvine 62-60 as Haley Van Dyke (Campolindo) had 11 points and six rebounds. Hunter Hernandez had nine points and five rebounds off the bench for UC Irvine.
 
In the marquee game of the season so far. No. 1 South Carolina won at No. 2 Stanford 76-71 in overtime. Haley Jones (Mitty) had 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Talana Lepolo (Carondelet) had seven points, five rebounds and six assists and Hannah Jump (Pinewood) had eight points and five rebounds.

Sacramento State moved to 5-1 with a win over UTEP on Sunday. Kaylin Randhawa (Pitman) had nine points in 28 minutes. Madison Butcher (Del Oro) had 10 points and six rebounds off the bench
 
In Humboldt State's loss to Cal State Dominguez Hills, Devon Lewis (Wood/Sierra JC) had 19 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 blocks
 
Raziya Potter (Kimball) is now at Arkansas Pine Bluff and is averging 8 pointsl, two rebounds and two assists and has started every game. She scored a season high 17 points against Cal earlier this year.
 
Sonoma State's Alli McDonald (Union Mine) had 29 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists in a 72-71 win over Stanislaus State
 
Texas San Antonio freshman guard Siena Guttadauro (Mitty) had nine points and three rebounds in 12 minuts off the bench against UAB on December 31.

UC Santa Barbara's Ila Lane (Priory) is averaging 13 points and nine rebounds. On Wednesday, she had 20 points and 16 rebounds against Cal State Bakersfield
 
Two NorCal alums set career highs to lead their respective squads in Fullerton's 67-51 win over UC Davis. Sophomore Una Jovanovich (Pinewood) went off for 26 points for Fullerton. Freshman Nya Epps (Carondelet) scored 14 off the bench to lead Davis. And Redshirt Frosh, Megan Norris (Sacred Heart Prep) chipped in 8 for Davis.
